An Open Invitation At Christmas
This is the season when we gather with family and friends in our homes, whether in-person or virtually. We connect and our lives are made better through the love that binds us. The love of God pours down at Christmas time, showing us a glimpse of a world filled with peace. This is our hope and it transcends our mortal lives, filling and nourishing our spirits.
You are invited to join us as we gather online to sing songs, reflect, pray and, once again, are reminded of the power of God’s grace and how Jesus makes our lives together better.

Bienvendo, Mabuhay, Swagat, Wilkommen and Jambo! Welcome to the first ever Corona UMC Advent @ Home.
We miss seeing you. You and your household are important to us. To help us connect this year, our wonderful Church Council asked us to prepare a kit to help you worship at home during Advent and Christmas.
We invite you to join us each occasion online for a service. The kit will help you to make your home a holy place, where God is present. Your home and the homes of our church family and friends connect together as the body of Christ, knowing God’s love in a meaningful, spiritual way.
There are a several items in the kit. The worship booklet is key. We provide indoor luminarias so you can join us each occasion for candle lighting. (Please be safe. If you are concerned about candles, we suggest using an LED version). There is a nativity scene for you make out of boxes and stickers. For children and youth, we have crafts and activities.
We encourage you to participate! Wear your slippers, light the candles, get the YouTube list and play some Christmas songs, watch the videos and do the crafts. Read scripture out loud and answer the conversation starter. Pray together. Serve someone else with love. Have fun while you do. After all, Christmas is a time of joy, the joy we have because of Jesus coming.
Most of all, we pray you find time to rest and be God’s child, just as you are, for Jesus loves you and cares for you … and so do we!
